Ab. Esteban Noboa Carrión

Esteban Noboa Carrión obtained his Law Degree in the Universidad of Navarra, Spain, where he was a Criminal Law assistant student and investigator member of the Constitutional Law Department. He also obtained a Diploma in Common Law that allows him to understand in depth how different areas of the Anglo-American legal system works. As a student, he was selected for the university’s team to participate in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition where he earned the distinction of Best Oralist in the Spanish National Rounds. He has a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (UEES).

When he got back to Ecuador, he earned his local Law Degree from the Courts of the Republic of Ecuador with a minor in Civil Law at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil. This enables him as an authorized law practitioner both in Spain and in Ecuador.

During 2011 and 2012, he worked as a member of the Legal Department of the Urban Massive Transport Municipal Foundation (Metrovía), where he was in charge of the Public Contracting and Administrative Law processes. He currently gives legal advice to natural persons and legal entities, for profit and nonprofit organizations, within the public and private sector, that develop their activities in the commercial, industrial, services and public contracting fields.

He became a part-time teacher in Unidad Educativa Torremar lecturing in Introduction of Philosophic Thought in 2012, and Introduction to Law from 2013 to 2015. He currently teaches Corporate and Business Law in the Universidad de Especialidades Espíritu Santo (UEES).

He has also published various opinion articles as a guest columnist in several Ecuadorian media.
